2. Services and Estimates

LJ Excellence Painter Inc provides painting and wallpaper installation services in Gloucester, MA and surrounding areas within 100 miles. Submitting a contact form or requesting an estimate does not create a binding contract. A service agreement is only formed when both parties have agreed in writing to the scope, timeline, and pricing of a specific project.

All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless otherwise noted in writing.

3. Pricing and Payment

All pricing is provided in writing prior to work commencement. We accept payment by Zelle, cash, and check. Payment terms are outlined in each project agreement. Late payments may incur additional fees as specified in the service agreement.

Prices are subject to change if the scope of work changes from the original estimate. Any additional work must be authorized in writing before proceeding.

4. Workmanship Warranty

LJ Excellence Painter Inc provides a 2-year workmanship warranty on painting and wallpaper services. This warranty covers defects in our workmanship, including peeling, flaking, or premature failure attributable to our application methods.

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by moisture intrusion, structural issues, or acts of nature
• Normal wear and tear
• Paint products selected and supplied by the client
• Damage caused by third parties after project completion
• Surfaces not properly prepared due to pre-existing conditions outside our control

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

We require at least 48 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling of scheduled work. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee as specified in the service agreement.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

• Providing reasonable access to the work area at agreed-upon times
• Removing or protecting personal valuables and fragile items before work begins
• Ensuring pets are secured and not interfering with work
• Disclosing any known hazardous materials (e.g., lead paint) present on the property
• Providing water and electricity access as needed for project completion

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LJ Excellence Painter Inc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or our services, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or goodwill.

Our maximum liability for any claim related to a specific project shall not exceed the total amount paid for that project.
